Our field of expertise
Our team of lawyers takes on assignments within most legal fields. In our recruitment policy, we look for candidates with outstanding legal competences as well as excellent personal skills.
Several of our lawyers are mainly working with business-related cases, i.a. within the fields of corporate law, labour law, insolvency legislation, contract law and legal questions related to real estate.
We also have long experience in the fields of family law, inheritance law, immigrant law, criminal law, and public law, including child protection legislation.
International experience and language competence
We deal frequently with cases related to international issues. Some cases raise jurisdictional questions. Other cases demand dialogue with government agencies, notaries, or lawyers abroad.
All our lawyers are fluent in English. In addition, Sigrid Anderssen Cabot speaks French and German.
We have several lawyers with international and intercultural competence and several language skills.
Margrethe Framnes Neset, Håkon Johnsen Skimmeland and Maren Simonsen studied for a period in Australia. Mikal Kjær studied for a period in Budapest, Hungary.
Sigrid Anderssen Cabot studied a period in Heidelberg, Germany, and worked six years at the European Commission in Brussels.
